Trimming board is made of a heavy durable hardwood iwth a light gloss, a ruler portion affixed to the top, and a very heavy (and very sharp) steel blade is on the right hand side, hinged to the wood by way of some serious hardware, see pictures. Blade is 9 (incl. Handle) x 1 at widest point x 1/8 thick.
Am guessing this piece to be early 1900's, there is some vintage grafitti on the lower left hand corner of item. Piece has minor wear, use pics on this one, a very odd kind of thing that is sure to appeal to the eccentric in your house (or your heart). Good evening!
